Cruor Cultum

 

Cruor Cultum are a band Hailing from Brazil and took a grand 10 years before they finally releasing the follow-up to their debut. I'm glad they took their time, this right here is a solid piece of raw black metal. The production is raw, gritty but still very audible and listenable. The bombastic beat of the drums, distorted heavy guitar and the devilish and sinister vocals will have you headbanging in no time. Everything mixed together gives off real vibes of old traditional black metal that any black metal lover is bound to enjoy. In spite of the short run time, we must be thankful for this great piece of black metal and appreciate it for what it is.

Niden Div. 187

 

 

Niden Div. 187 are a split-up Swedish Black metal band which is truly a shame. They play black metal in the same vain as Zyklon-b, bombastic, aggressive and militarist esque. The atmosphere is very war-like; just imagine yourself in the trenches while being constantly bombarded with artillery. That's what it's like listening to Niden Div. 187.  How something so good can be so underrated is beyond me.

Sortilegia

 

Sorry for the delay everyone, things have been hectic as of late with due dates and what not. Sortiligea was formed by mastermind Haereticus who is also the driving force behind Thantifaxath.  Other than sharing the same creator, these bands are polar opposites. While Thantifaxath focuses on tight distinct melodies, and cacophonous blistering guitars, Sortilegia focus on the minimalist aspects while being as gritty and raw as possible. As they say, opposites attract.
