Spawn of the Matriarch
It's a shame that some bands are never able to get the recognition they truly deserve. How often do you come across a metal band that utilizes a flute and a marimba in an effective matter, let alone one that actually uses them. Spawn of the Matriarch are a blackened death metal band that certainly aren't afraid of experimentation by any means, and create such a bizarre concoction of competing elements it that you'll be left wondering what did i just listen to, in a good way of course.
